Hola, familias!
We had a wonderful week of learning in DLI Pre-K 4! This week, our little learners continued building their Spanish vocabulary, strengthening their phonics skills, and exploring letters, shapes, and colors.
Letra de la semana: Oo
This week, we focused on the letter Oo! We explored Spanish words that begin with this letter and practiced recognizing its sound. We also continued practicing our names each morning. This activity helps students recognize the letters in their names, identify individual letters, and build early literacy skills.
Heggerty:
We continued working on our Heggerty phonics activities. Through songs, rhymes, and playful listening exercises, students are developing their phonological awareness and learning to recognize and manipulate sounds in words.
Our color of the week was azul (blue)! Students practiced identifying the color blue in their classroom environment and strengthening their Spanish color vocabulary.
Our shape of the week was el cuadrado (square)! We explored the characteristics of a square and practiced identifying this shape in different objects and activities.
¡Seguimos aprendiendo!
We are so proud of the progress our little learners are making every day. Each activity, song, and classroom routine helps build the foundation for their academic and social growth.
Thank you for your continued support and for being such an important part of our classroom community!
