Happy Friday Families!
Here is what we did in Pre-K 3 this week!
.
Looking back…
*We focused on Emotions!
*We learned that there are 4 basic emotions (happy, sad, silly, mad)!
*We sang some very fun songs, some of our favorites were “If you’re Happy and you Know it” and “Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes”!
*We read so many fun books! One of our favorites was “Head to Toe” By Eric Carle and “The Color Monster” by Anna Llenas
*We took part in voting with our “How do You Feel Today?” chart. Many of our friends are happy!
*Pre-K played noodle tag in P.E.!
*We practiced going to Church with our buddies, we are so excited to go next week!
*Molly was our PBIS ticket pull winner! She was able to pick out a prize from the prize bin in the Office. Great job getting those tickets and being a responsible cardinal Molly!

Please have your child use the bathroom right before coming to school on Tuesdays. We did a practice run today and talked about being quiet and respectful during Mass. We are excited for this new routine!
Grandfriend’s Day Information
St. Cletus is celebrating Grandfriends Day on September 24! Here is how the event works–if your family wants to bring your child to mass, RSVP using this link by Wednesday 9/23 The day of, their Grandfriend will pick them up from our door (Door 6) at 1PM and take them to mass, WE DO NOT GO AS A CLASS. Afterwards, there is a reception with some treats and beverages. We ask that if your child is going to Grandfriends Day, please have your family member take them home after. We want to minimize the amount of tears and sadness for our little friends!

Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
Below are some suggestions to engage your child in a conversation about what they did at school!
*What did you do with your buddy this week? (went for a walk and went into the Church!)
*Practice our meal time prayer with them! (Bless us O’ Lord, for these thy gifts, which we are about to receive, from thy bounty, through Christ our Lord, Amen)
*Ask them what color the Color Monster turned when he was sad (blue).
