Pre-k 3 Newsletter Friday October 30

Happy Friday Families!

Thank you SO MUCH to all our classroom volunteers and to all of our families who bought supplies for our Halloween party, it was such a hit!

Click here for a glimpse of how much fun we had this week!

Looking back…

*This week our classroom was filled with Halloween excitement!

*In our trick-or-treat dramatic play center, the kids loved pretending to visit houses, collect candy, and dress up in costumes.

*We explored Halloween-themed books together, talking about pumpkins, costumes, and all things spooky-but-silly.

*At the art table, we used our play-doh pumpkin mats to create pumpkins on a vine, practicing fine motor skills and creativity.

*We practiced our sorting skills with pumpkin erasers, leaf buttons, and letter H erasers!

It was a wonderful week full of imagination, storytelling, and Halloween fun! 👻🕷️🍬

MARK YOUR CALENDAR…
Wednesday, November 4– Picture Retake Day!
Friday, November 6- NO SCHOOL
.
Looking Ahead…
Next week we are learning about voting! The students will vote between goldfish/applesauce on Tuesday (election day). Then, on Wednesday, we will have whichever choice won for snack!
As we get into the cooler weather…. make sure to send your child with appropriate clothing to go outside! We are outside almost every day, even in the Winter!
Please continue practicing with your child on how to put on jackets and clothing independently. Independence is a HUGE part of preschool!

Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
Below are some suggestions to engage your child in a conversation about what they did at school!
* What did you pretend to be in the trick-or-treat dramatic play area?
*What sound does a H make?
*How do you make an H in sign language?
Have an amazing weekend,
