Happy Friday! We are so excited to have made it through a full week of school.
This week we…
- Talked about making assumptions race or skin color and to choose kindness over ignorance as we get to know each other better..We met with the other class again so we could see all our 6th grade friends.
- We looked at how positive and negative numbers can be used to describe temperatures, above and below sea level. They can also be compared to each other using “greater than” and “less than.”
- We read a book about the Journey That Saved Curious George The true Wartime Escape f the Authors of the Curious George Series. It was capitvating true story which beautiful illustrations of 1940’s Europe and America.
- We attended mass on Tuesday morning and today for Mass of the Holy Spirit.
- Most 6th Graders finished both math and reading diagnostics
- We attended our first music class and met the new music teacher.
- We finished our discussions about being good citizens with technology.
- We sent home nformation about megapasses and fall fest.
- We got even more organized when it comes to switching classes-we are able to switch in under 3 minutes.
- We prayed every day before school, at lunch, and at the end of our day.
So much fun and learning!
