Another great week in JK! We have been enjoying the fall weather, the fresh air does us all good! Even on rainy days we are able to walk around our school grounds and enjoy all the fall changes! Please make sure your kids have coats as this weather is getting a bit cooler!
A few talking points for your kids this week:
• What book did Mrs. Flood the librarian read to you in the library? (Cordoroy’s Halloween)
• Who was the line leader, caboose, prayer leader and flag holder?
• What is your favorite thing to do during free choice time?Religion: We are talking about all our senses with God’s love all around us!
Literacy: Jolly phonics this week is the letters /H/ and /R/. We are having tons of fun with Halloween letter games.
Science/ Social Studies: PUMPKINS!! We will be doing science and art activities with pumpkins and gourds. We will be learning the life cycle and doing different experiments with them. Feel free to bring one in for the classroom! We appreciate it!
