Hello Everyone,

As I am cleaning the room tonight and thinking about the coming week I wanted to send out a list of things that we will be doing during the week.  

Our spelling words this week will be a list focused on Christmas. Words will be sent home on Monday as usual.

Please be sure to send in an old backpack or reusable grocery bag so that you child can put all the items from their desks in them by Thursday December 21st. Our AWESOME maintenance staff will be cleaning our classrooms over break and request that we empty the kids desk.

Monday, December 18th: Christmas book reports are due today. Please be sure that your child can read both the written report and project. Also be sure to have your child write their first and last names on both of these items. Presentations will be given starting today and lasting until Thursday. Please let me know if your child will be leaving before Friday and need to present earlier in the week.

Tuesday December 19th – Wednesday December 20:: Book Report presentations continue.

Thursday December 21st: Presentations will wrap up today. Please be sure to send in an old backpack or reusable grocery bag TODAY!!

Friday, December 22nd: We will be dismissing the students at 2:00 We will be attending 9:30 Mass. PLEASE join us if your schedule allows After Mass we will be having a cookie and movie party (PLEASE don’t let the kiddos know. This is my gift to them and I want it to be a surprise.) I will be showing “THE SANTA CLAUS” and the kids will be decorating some of my home made sugar cookies. I will also be serving Hot Chocolate and optional toppings.

I also wanted to ask you to ask your child how their pencil cases are holding up so far.  If they say it’s too small or has a hole in it maybe Santa may could add a new one in your child’s stocking.
